Q4
DOES YOUR
COMPANY HOLD
REGULAR SECURITY
PROTOCOL MEETINGS?
DOMENIQUE COLLINS, ADAPTIVE
Absolutely. I lead a monthly Security
Task Force that evaluates risks across
our company, our clients, and third-party
platforms. My master’s degree program
at NYU focused on Information Systems
Management and Risk Management, and
I work alongside a talented team of IT and
consulting professionals to conduct regular
risk assessments and client security audits.
(Thank you Konstantin, Artem, and Sylwen!) As a direct Microsoft
CSP, we’re held to a high security standard, and we take protecting
customer data very seriously.
BAILEIGH DAOUD-SORICELLI, DAOUD’S FINE JEWELRY
Security is super important at Daoud’s
and the safety of our staff and clients. We
try to routinely go through scenarios of
what could happen and what to do in those
situations. It’s important to have everyone
on the same page and to understand the
proper protocol on what to do for the best
safety outcome.
KAREN FOX, FOX FINE JEWELRY
Yes! Because clients trust us with their
heirlooms, jewelry security is a regular topic
at our weekly team meetings. All jewelry
is stored in a bank-style vault at night, and
we photograph, describe, and insure every
piece of jewelry we work on.
OLGA SHATROVA, OLGA SHATROVA
As a small independent company, we
review security procedures regularly rather
than holding large formal meetings. We
discuss the protection of client informa-
tion, inventory handling, transportation of
jewelry, digital access, and the importance
of staying alert to new fraud and cyberse-
curity risks.
TONY MAGGIO, REFLECTIONS IN GOLD
Absolutely! We believe security is an
ongoing commitment, not a one-time
conversation, which is why we hold regular
security protocol meetings to keep our
team prepared. Our training covers customer
data protection, inventory security,
cybersecurity awareness, and emergency
response procedures for situations such
as robbery, theft, and fire, including the
use of panic buttons, emergency exits, and
safety equipment. These ongoing meetings ensure our team remains
confident, informed, and ready to provide a safe and secure environ-
ment for our customers and employees.
LIV WICKERSHAM, THE BEVY
We build security and data protocols
into our regular team check-ins rather than
running them as a standalone meeting.
This is a consistent part of how we train
and coach our team.
